You will follow written work orders, monitor printing times and materials, inspect output for defects, and log production data. The position offers a stable, detail-oriented environment in our fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience as a shirt press operator using screen press machines.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Creative and artistic skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to work with ink and chemicals daily.
• Ability to manually operate large machinery.

Responsibilities

• Receive work order jobs for screen printing
• Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities
• Keep workstation and machinery clean
• Examine product for painting smears and other defects
• Run prints and perform quality checks throughout the printing process
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise
• Count and record quantities printed in the production log
