The role requires hands-on experience with silk screen presses, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to stand for long periods in a busy manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required during peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Experience operating shirt screen print equipment and setting up jobs.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail required.
• Creative and artistic mindset beneficial for color matching and accuracy.
• Ability to stand for long periods in a production environment.
• Experience handling ink and chemicals daily.
• Ability to manually operate and troubleshoot silk screen presses.

Responsibilities

• Receive work order jobs for screen printing.
• Examine work orders to determine estimated printing times, ink, and material quantities.
• Keep workstation and machinery clean.
• Examine product for painting smears and other defects.
• Run prints and perform quality checks throughout the printing process.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise.
• Count and record quantities printed in the production log.
