Job summary

Framingham Public Schools is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support Thayer Alternative High School - Evening Academy. The role focuses on student health, medication administration, and health plan coordination to ensure a safe learning environment.

The LPN will work with the Health Services team during the 2025-2026 school year, coordinating with teachers and families to promote health, safety, and equity in access to education for all students.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Practical Nurse License required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Experience in school or pediatric nursing preferred.
• Ability to read and follow health-related policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct health support to students in the school setting.
• Administer medications and manage health plans per district policy.
• Maintain computerized health records and reports for students.
• Collaborate with educators and health services staff to support student well-being.
