Guilderland Central School District is seeking a Custodial Worker for Wes building on the SECOND SHIFT (2:15PM – 10:45PM). Under supervision of the Head Custodian, Custodial Supervisor, and the Assistant Director of Facilities, you will clean and maintain school district property and perform minor repairs.

Duties include sweeping, mopping, window washing, waste disposal, outside grounds work, and assisting with plumbing, carpentry, and electrical tasks as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Supervised cleaning and maintenance tasks, following established procedures.
• Requires ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and use hands.
• Good attendance and dependability.

• Sweeps and mops floors, corridors, and stairs.
• Washes windows, walls, blackboards, sinks, and fixtures.
• Empties waste baskets and disposes of rubbish.
• Vacuums and waxes floors.
• Moves furniture and arranges equipment.
• Clears snow and ice from walks and pathways.
• Mows lawns and performs outside grounds duties.
• Delivers packages, messages, and equipment.
• Cares for furnace and boiler room equipment.
• Paints rooms and assists in minor repairs.
• Monitors vandalism and reports it.
• Gives directions to visitors and assists with outside activities.
