Job summary

Action Group is seeking a dependable School Custodian to clean and upkeep educational facilities under a school-year schedule. The role offers consistent full-time hours with a path to long-term employment through a temp-to-hire arrangement.

Starting pay is $15.00/hour with a raise to $17.00/hour after 520 hours, and a school-year schedule of Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM. Summer hours shift to morning shifts; occasional overtime is not typical.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform routine janitorial tasks.
• Maintain consistent cleaning quality across areas.
• Use standard custodial equipment and supplies.
• Report to shift area and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with school grounds upkeep and winter weather cleanup.
