Qualifications

• Experience in building cleaning and maintenance work for school buildings.
• Experience in operating building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC) preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow oral or written instructions in English.
• Ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops and waxes floors; washes walls and windows; dusts desks and furniture.
• Cleans and mops lavatories and locker rooms; replaces soap or towels; empties wastebaskets.
• Moves and arranges chairs and tables; performs routine custodial tasks.
• May make minor repairs to furniture, windows, locks, and light fixtures; assist with groundskeeping and supervision in cafeteria.
