Job summary

Belgrade High School is hiring a Custodian for an evening shift to perform general cleaning and custodial tasks. The role reports to the Principal & Head Custodian and requires flexibility with school break schedules.

The position includes a salary of $20.20 to $21.56 per hour plus a $0.50 shift differential. A pre-employment physical is required and a Montana driver’s license is needed for some duties.

Qualifications

• Must have basic safety knowledge and follow district rules.
• Able to read and follow written work orders in English.
• Experience with school cleaning standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning in classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, wax floors and disinfect drinking fountains.
• Respond to schedules and events, assist with setup and cleanup.
• Receive deliveries and move supplies to classrooms and storage areas.
• Assist in snow removal and grounds maintenance as directed.
