Job summary

The Academy of Charter Schools in Westminster, CO is seeking a dependable full-time Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming school environment year-round. The role includes cleaning, sanitation, safety checks, and building support for events.

We require a high school diploma or equivalent and 18+ years. No previous experience is required, but cleaning, chemical handling, and customer service experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• No experience required; experience in general cleaning, chemical handling and customer service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleanliness, sanitation, and basic maintenance of assigned areas.
• Perform cleaning duties including trash removal and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Assist with building operations for events and building use.
• Support staff, students, teachers and community groups during shift.
• Report hazards and respond to alarms; communicate issues to supervisor.
• Remove snow, ice, and debris; clean outside windows and doors.
• Perform seasonal or project cleaning as assigned.
