Job summary

Compass Group USA’s SSC Services for Education division is hiring janitors for New Braunfels Independent School District locations. Full-time and part-time shifts available; schedules include evenings 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Prior janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training and growth. Online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial experience is preferred, but not required.
• Evening and part-time/full-time schedules may be available.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and places back properly.
• Cleans assigned areas and sanitizes surfaces following eight-step procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items for a clean environment.
• Seeks out areas needing cleaning and completes tasks.
• Performs tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Works in compliance with federal, state and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team with professionalism.
