Job summary

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is seeking a Custodian PM at Duker School for a 12-month, full-time shift from 3:15 pm to 11:45 pm, Monday through Friday.

The role includes cleaning, securing the building, seasonal grounds duties, and basic repairs; requires a high school diploma, a valid Illinois driver\'s license, and willingness to travel within the district.

Start date ASAP; benefits include health insurance, IMRF pension, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Illinois Driver's license and ability to travel within district.
• Prior school custodian experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, securing the building, and seasonal grounds duties.
• On-going maintenance and minor repair of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and custodial equipment.
• Read/interpret safety rules, operating manuals, maintenance instructions.
• Occasionally work during non-scheduled hours.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Set work priorities and work independently.
• Meet schedules and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships, work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain records related to work practices and projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.
