Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Part-Time Custodian/Janitorial Worker to keep a school facility clean, safe, and ready for students and staff. You will clean classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas following safety procedures. The role is mainly afternoon/evening, with a typical shift from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The pay is $17.00 per hour. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team to maintain a clean environment.

• Ability to pass required background screening for a school environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, cafeterias, and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces according to schedules.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of trash and recycling in designated locations.
• Restock restroom, classroom, and janitorial supplies as needed.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment such as vacuums, mops, floor tools, and carts.
• Follow cleaning procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety issues through proper channels.
• Assist with deep cleaning, event setup/cleanup, seasonal cleaning.
• Help secure the facility by locking/unlocking designated areas.
• Maintain a clean, professional, and safe environment for students, staff, visitors, coworkers.
• Work independently while supporting team cleaning goals.
