RE-1 Valley School District is seeking an Evening Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment for students, staff, and visitors. This full-time, 1.0 FTE position works evenings, supports district facilities, and helps ensure buildings are ready for daily operations.

The role requires physical ability (lifting up to 50 pounds), independent work, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver's license or ability to obtain transportation to assigned work location.
• Ability to pass required background checks.

Responsabilités

• Maintain clean classrooms, offices, restrooms, locker rooms, cafeterias and common areas.
• Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the evening to ensure readiness for daily operations.
• Secure buildings by locking doors, turning off lights, and conducting end-of-shift checks; follow safety procedures.
• Attend required district trainings and maintain confidentiality; perform other duties as assigned.
