ABM Industries is seeking a reliable School Custodian to perform general cleaning duties on a K-12 campus or university environment. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5pm to 11pm, at 1701 Ben White Blvd., Austin, TX.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to cleaning protocols in classrooms, restrooms, and common areas. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, with no high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning duties in classrooms, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Ability to follow safety and cleaning procedures.
• On-the-job training provided and no prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned areas including classrooms, hallways, restrooms and offices.
• Sweep, mop floors, remove debris and manage trash
• Follow chemical cleaner usage procedures to protect floors and fixtures
• Communicate with lead cleaner, supervisor or manager about repairs or needs
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common spaces
• Support recycling and waste separation and disposal
