Job summary

Princeton Day School in Princeton, NJ seeks an experienced Custodian to join our long-tenured team. The role runs Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, with some weekends, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, sweeping and waxing floors, trash removal, event setup/breakdown, and snow/grounds duties.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds with stamina.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions in English.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Clean, polish and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; maintain cleanliness of floors and walls.
• Collect trash and recycling; ensure dumpster area stays neat and clean.
• Set up and breakdown for school events; snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed.
