Job summary

Warren Woods Public Schools is seeking an Afternoon Custodian for Warren Woods Middle School in Warren, Michigan. The role runs Monday through Friday, 3:00pm–11:30pm, with starting pay at $18.06 per hour.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability; holidays and leave days are provided. You will perform general custodial duties and support event setups and safety across the school.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate. College or trade school classes preferred.
• Valid drivers license required.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to work from ladders and with basic hand/power tools.
• Read and follow safety data sheets and cleaning chemical labels.

Responsibilities

• Secure and maintain building safety and security.
• Perform custodial and housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
• Replace lighting and maintain floors and surfaces.
• Set up rooms for events and activities and assist with maintenance tasks.
• Respond to emergencies and work overtime as needed.
