Job summary

PTFS in Rockville, MD, is seeking an entry level 2nd Shift Scanner Operator (Level I) to join the Digitization Division. The position runs 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Monday–Friday, on site, and focuses on high-quality scanning work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment aligned to client expectations.

Key duties include preparing documents for scanning, performing quality checks, indexing, and ensuring materials are returned to their original condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related experience.
• Knowledge of Windows and Windows-based applications; basic scanning tech experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail, ability to recognize errors and discrepancies and absorb feedback.
• Ability to take and follow directions.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Lift/carry items up to ~30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Indexing tasks and metadata capture as required.
