Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Sanitation Supervisor to lead the afternoon sanitation team and ensure safety, sanitation, and food-safety standards are met. The role partners with QA, Production, and Maintenance to maintain an audit-ready manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include planning shift sanitation, coaching staff on SSOPs, overseeing cleaning, chemical safety, ATP testing, and documentation for audits. Requires High School education and 2 years’ experience.

Qualifications

  • Sanitation focused leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience implementing SSOPs and GMPs in food production.
  • Supervisory duties including coaching, training, and safety enforcement.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, assign, and monitor shift sanitation tasks based on production schedules and allergen risks.
  • Lead shift meetings, coach employees on SSOPs/GMPs, enforce safety and PPE rules.
  • Oversee cleaning, sanitizing, disassembly/reassembly of production lines and areas.
  • Enforce correct chemical usage and inventory, maintain SDS/spill readiness.
  • Perform visual pre-op inspections, ATP swabs, and allergen testing.
  • Document outcomes and elevate major food-safety risks to QA Manager.
  • Maintain logs for audits and coordinate handoffs with other shifts.
  • Collaborate with QA, Production, Maintenance and Safety for issue resolution.
