Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a Roller Assembler on the 2nd shift in Hobart, IN. You will complete assembly and packaging according to established procedures, reading drawings and using hand and power tools.

The role requires attention to quality, the ability to record status in a computer, and adherence to Daifuku QMS policies. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of assembly experience, with strong reading of blueprints and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Performing assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions
• Following supervisors’ instructions of work to be performed
• Performing self-inspection of work to ensure quality and compliance to specifications
• Using computer to record assembly status
• Following safety instructions and rules
• Working overtime and assigned shifts as needed
• Employees are responsible for complying with all requirements of Daifuku’s QMS policies and procedures
• Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
