Good Shepherd Health Care is seeking an RN Unit Supervisor for the Family Birth Center in Hermiston, OR. This role coordinates daily nursing operations, supports staffing, and ensures high-quality patient care across the unit.

The RN Unit Supervisor collaborates with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to meet regulatory requirements and improve performance. The position requires an Oregon RN license, BLS/ACLS/EFM/NRP/STABLE, and 3 years of relevant L&D, postpartum, and nursery experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon.
• BLS, ACLS, EFM, NRP, STABLE certifications.
• 3 years of nursing experience in L&D, Post-partum, & Nursery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical operations and workflow with unit leadership and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical resource for staff; ensure safe, patient-centered care per nursing process and hospital policies.
• Assist with staffing coordination, schedule support, patient throughput, and assignment awareness.
• Support orientation, onboarding, competency validation, and staff development with department leadership.
• Participate in quality monitoring, performance improvement, and regulatory readiness (DNV when applicable).
• Promote effective communication with patients, families, providers, and other departments.
• Monitor documentation and unit processes for compliance with standards.
