Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Sarasota is seeking an RN Supervisor to coordinate patient care and services weekdays, 3pm–11pm (Mon-Fri). The role emphasizes collaboration to ensure quality care while adhering to Life Care standards and applicable regulations.

The RN Supervisor will lead licensed staff and CNAs, assess patient needs, and develop care plans. CPR certification must be current, and the incumbent must maintain an active RN license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
• Must hold or obtain CPR certification prior to or during orientation, and maintain current CPR certification.
• Current RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience; geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and manage patient care and services.
• Direct licensed staff and CNAs to prioritize patient care needs and reporting.
• Assess patient needs and develop plans of care.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients and maintain regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
