Job summary

Parkview Care and Rehabilitation Center in Massapequa, NY is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift on a part-time basis. You will mentor staff and supervise daily nursing operations to ensure high-quality resident care.

The role emphasizes leadership, regulatory readiness, and collaboration with DON/ADON to uphold facility standards and resident safety. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of New York.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing to support daily nursing operations.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and unit operations.
• Assist with state surveys and regulatory audits.
• Address and resolve clinical or staffing concerns to maintain a safe and high-quality care environment.
