Job summary

Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse Supervisor for evening shifts (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) on site. The RN Supervisor delivers care using the nursing process, supervises CNAs, and coordinates with the health care team to maintain quality of life and outcomes for residents.

Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid PA RN license, and current BCLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid PA state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Current AHA health care provider training (BCLS).
• Demonstrated experience within a skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver safe preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative care.
• Performs independent nursing functions using established procedures and guidelines.
• Admits and assesses residents including initial care plan.
• Administers assessments, treatments, medications, and diets with documentation.
• Completes required resident charting every shift.
• Makes rounds to assess orderliness and infection control.
• Observes changes in residents’ condition and reports to physician.
• Participates in discharge planning with physician and departments.
• Directs, supervises, and assists CNAs and nursing staff at bedside.
• Coordinates communication among the health care team.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid PA state licensure as a Registered Nurse
