Job summary

Riverside Lifelong Health and Rehabilitation in Smithfield, VA seeks an experienced RN Supervisor for the Part-Time Evening Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm).

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, you will supervise nursing services on one or more units, coordinate care with families and staff, and ensure safety and quality care. The role requires an RN licensed in Virginia, CPR/BLS within 30 days, and preferred Charge Nurse experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Experience as Charge Nurse (Preferred)
• Licensed RN in Virginia with VDHP; CPR/BLS within 30 days (Required)

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to staff to deliver quality resident care.
• Manage labor within budget with DON/Nurse Manager guidance.
• Develops and evaluates resident care plans and communicates them to providers and families.
• Identify changes in resident condition and document per policy.
• Oversee onboarding and supervision of nursing staff to ensure safety and quality.
• Foster resident dignity and safety in daily care while following facility policies.
