Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing services on one or more units.
• Assigns duties to staff according to education and resident needs.
• Ensures plan of care is developed, implemented and evaluated.
• Monitors labor expenses with DON/Nurse Manager to stay within budget.
• Onboards, orients and supervises nursing staff for safe practices.
• Communicates care plans to providers, residents, families and staff.
• Documents changes in condition following Interact process.
• Maintains resident privacy and dignity per facility policies.
