Job summary

River Ridge Living Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for the 2 pm–10 pm shift to lead nursing staff and oversee care on all units. You will monitor rounds, review reports with the charge nurse, and ensure resident comfort, safety, dignity and privacy are maintained.

Qualifications

• Must have valid RN license for NYS.
• Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency care.
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and ability to follow them.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, compassionate and well-organized.

Responsibilities

• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants on assigned shift.
• Make rounds on all units to check resident well-being.
• Review reports with charge nurse and monitor listed residents.
• Check on new admissions to ensure comfort and safety.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
