Job summary

MercyOne Genesis Davenport Medical Center in Davenport, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Care Center. You will provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care for pediatric to geriatric patients, emphasizing assessment, planning, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.

The role is 40 hours per week with 8-hour evening shifts (10:00 am–6:30 pm) and no weekends or holidays. You will follow ANA standards and participate in quality monitoring and performance

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Iowa; Illinois license required within one year.
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• No prior experience is required.
• Training in Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation; Certification in Med/Surg Nursing or ASPAN.
• Certification and a Baccalaureate in Nursing are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct safe, effective, and culturally competent care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Adhere to ANA Professional Practice Standards and participate in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.

Education

Associates Degree in Nursing

RN license in Iowa; Illinois license required within one year

ACLS, BLS, PALS

No Experience required

Training in Basic Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation; Certification in Med/Surg Nursing or ASPAN

Certification and Baccalaureate in Nursing preferred
