Job summary

Twin Lakes Recovery Center in Monroe, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/RN) for a Monday through Friday 3:00 pm–11:00 pm shift. You will care for clients under RN supervision, administer medications, and participate in care planning within a recovery setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing Program required.
• One or more years' nursing experience within clinical area of service preferred.
• Knowledge of psychotropic medications and medication administration procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individualized nursing care to an assigned group of clients under supervision.
• Ensures client safety and adheres to unit and facility policies and procedures.
• Assists in health and psychiatric teaching for client and family.
• Serves as a role model for clients and peers.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care plans and nursing care.
• Communicates effectively with medical staff and documents orders.
• Participates in team conferences and shares knowledge with team members.
• Administers medications accurately and documents effects.
• Observes and reports changes to RN in charge and doctors.
• Provides coverage in emergency services as needed.
