Job summary

Jersey College in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nursing Instructor to lead Theory - Anatomy & Physiology for the RN Evening program (Mondays and Thursdays, 5:30-9:50pm). A BSN or higher and an active RN license are required.

The instructor provides classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students, evaluates performance, and mentors students toward strong clinical judgment and professional nursing practice.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher nursing degree required.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience.
• Clinical experience related to taught courses.
• Knowledge and experience in nursing specialty contributing to student learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction to LPN/PN and RN students as assigned.
• Deliver clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute sites.
• Create a positive learning environment and support student growth and development.
• Evaluate student performance and clinical competence according to program standards.
• Prepare accurate progress and grade reports and maintain attendance records.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support curriculum and student success.
