Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical-Surgical Unit-IV at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. The role focuses on delivering individualized nursing care on a 12.5-hour evening shift, with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule and every-other weekend commitment.

Current NJ RN license and BLS are required; BSN preferred or in progress, with 3+ years acute care experience desired. Pay ranges hourly and reflects NJ staffing guidelines and union contracts.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred or in progress.
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Organize and administer age-appropriate nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical Unit IV.
• Support patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Participate in unit performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
