Job summary

US Foods CHEF'STORE is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, process transactions at the front end, stock and replenish products, and support inventory and courtesy standards across departments.

The role includes flexible scheduling, working in Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods areas, and potential involvement in special store events. Starting wage is $17.69 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service preferred.
• Ability to operate POS, scan items and handle checkout accurately.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
• FIFO stocking and inventory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Front End: operate POS, assist customers, manage checkout and ensure accurate scanning.
• Sales Floor: stock shelves, label merchandise, rotate stock and monitor inventory levels.
• Customer Courtesy: maintain cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming store environment.
• Support: assist with price changes, opening/closing duties, and inventory processes.
