Job summary

The Merchandiser at Coca-Cola Beverages Northeast ensures product availability, visibility, and promotion of Coca-Cola beverages in retail stores across the territory. This role represents a world-famous brand and requires stocking displays, coolers, and maintaining proper product levels.

You will execute merchandising plans, rotate stock, build displays, and support promotional campaigns while maintaining accurate counts and safe handling of equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in grocery, retail, consumer goods, warehousing or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Experience working with pallet jacks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising plans to ensure optimal product placement, display, and availability in retail stores.
• Maintain product on store racks, shelves, displays, and in coolers by identifying replenishment needs.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment
• Implement promotional activities and marketing campaigns in accordance with company guidelines.
• Secure damaged or defective product while maintaining a clean product space.
• Ensure accurate product counts by properly managing backrooms and organizing backstock.
• Operate manual and powered handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.)
• Maintain areas of responsibility in designated accounts by communicating status and concerns to store and company personnel.
• Follow company and store policies regarding backroom, display floor, replenishment, equipment, and safety.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff to drive collaboration and maximize merchandising opportunities.
