Job summary

HRI Hospitality in Pittsburgh is seeking a Restaurant Server to greet guests, present menus, and deliver food and beverages with a friendly, attentive touch. You will take orders, serve in both restaurant and room service, and inform guests about daily specials.

Responsibilities include upselling, handling payments on the POS, maintaining dining areas, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Weekend/holiday availability and mostly PM shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required in a restaurant or room service.
• Excellent oral communication skills required.
• Positive interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Serving guest F&B in the restaurant and room service.
• Informs guests about the daily specials and menu changes.
• Upsell food and beverages to guests.
• Take orders from guests on pads or the handheld POS.
• Handle revenues, receipts and payments.
• Maintain a clean dining area and assist during busy periods.
• Co-ordinate with bus staff and kitchen/bar for smooth operation.
• Open and pour wine tableside when required.
