Job summary

Care Plus Management is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to oversee respiratory services for residents with complex needs. The role ensures clinical excellence and strict regulatory compliance while coordinating care with the Medical Director, Pulmonologist, and nursing leadership.

The ideal candidate holds an RRT credential and an Illinois license, with prior supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential in good standing.
• Valid Illinois state respiratory care practitioner license.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, preferably in LTC/SNF.
• Supervisory experience preferred; strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee respiratory therapy services for ventilator/tracheostomy patients.
• Ensure treatments and ventilator management follow orders and best practices.
• Collaborate with Pulmonologist, Medical Director, and Nursing leadership on care plans.
• Supervise, schedule, evaluate Respiratory Therapists and maintain licensure.
• Ensure staff competency, orientation, and ongoing education.
