Job summary

Sharp HealthCare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist in California to manage and monitor respiratory care across several clinical areas. You will work a shift starting at 6 PM and ending around 6:30 AM, with a 12/36 hour AWS schedule and every-other weekend involvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) per NBRC requirements.
• California Respiratory Care Practitioners license required.
• AHA BLS for healthcare professionals required.
• PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and administers respiratory care functions for identified patients across multiple clinical areas.
• Communicates patient status and responses to the healthcare team and updates care plans each shift.
• Documents patient charges and maintains accurate patient records per guidelines.
• Adheres to aseptic technique and universal precautions to ensure patient safety.
• Performs duties with time management, prioritizes tasks, and provides cross coverage as needed.
