Job summary

Community Solutions Inc. is seeking a Full-time Residential Re-Entry Specialist at the Drapelick Center in Bloomfield, CT. You’ll support individuals on parole to rebuild their lives within a community-based program.

The role requires a High School Diploma and experience in social services or criminal justice, plus a FBOP background check and training. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00pm–12:00am with a starting hourly rate of $19.75 plus shift differentials. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 4 years’ experience in social service or criminal justice field recommended.
• Background checks including FBOP required and training completed prior to working with FBOP clients.
• Strong attention to detail and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Report to work 15 minutes before shift; for example, 4pm–12am starts by 3:45pm.
• Conduct urinalysis and update on client issues and incidents.
• Verify items passed between shifts and ensure facility key security.
• Conduct employment, job search and home confinement spot checks on each shift.
• Conduct area searches, document results, and supervise client visitations.
• Complete intake for new arrivals and facilitate client orientation and movements.
• Monitor clients’ self-administration of medication and transport clients as needed.
