Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in North Woodmere, NY seeks a compassionate Resident Services Aide (HHA) for full-time, on-site work Tue-Sat, 3 PM–11 PM. You’ll provide hands-on care, assist with ADLs, escort to meals, and help residents engage in activities while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualified CNAs, PCAs or HHAs with English proficiency and experience in geriatric care are encouraged to apply; join a team that calls hospitality with a higher purpose how we care for others.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required or preferred.
• Experience assisting seniors with Alzheimer's/dementia is a plus.
• Must be able to speak and read in English.
• Geriatriccare experience preferred with ADLs assistance.
• Ability to follow instructions and establish personal care routines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities.
• Support residents in achieving optimal physical, emotional and psycho-social well-being.
• Assist in Wellness area to ensure safety and comfort of residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures and guidance from Nurse Shift Supervisor and Director of Wellness.
