Job summary

Genesis in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an RN Supervisor with at least 1 year of long-term care experience and proven leadership of a 10+ member team. The role supports the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality care and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will lead clinical operations on the assigned shift, mentor staff, drive recruitment and orientation, and collaborate with other departments to maintain staffing and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in Long Term Care or similar setting.
• Must have at least 1 year supervising a team of 10 or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift.
• Facilitate implementation of care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordinating with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff for safe, 24/7 care, limiting overtime and agency usage.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation, and make recommendations for promotions/transfers/terminations.

Responsibilities

The RN Supervisor supports the Director of Nursing with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

• Lead, guide and direct the clinical operations of the nursing units on assigned shift including ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
• Facilitate the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, along with coordination and communication with other departments.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing staff to provide safe, 24/7 nursing care with an emphasis on limiting use of overtime and agency personnel.
• Participate in staff recruitment, new hire orientation and make recommendations for employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, college, or university; BSN preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing
