Job summary
Genesis HealthCare in Phillipsburg, New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 3pm-11pm shift. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, perform comprehensive assessments, and develop individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
The role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing professional development, and leadership within the interdisciplinary team. The position requires valid RN licensure, ADN/BSN, BLS/CPR certification, and experience in long-term or geriatric care.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering high-quality nursing care and exceptional patient service.
- Strong English communication for clear clinical documentation and safety.
- Proficiency in teamwork and collaboration with interdisciplinary care teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide holistic patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor outcomes.
- Lead and supervise LPNs and CNAs with a focus on safety and quality.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate discharge planning.
- Mentor new staff and support onboarding and education.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation using PCC EHR.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and infection control practices.
