Job summary

You will perform assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation in line with policies and procedures to direct and manage patient care while maintaining a safe work environment and clinical competency.

Responsibilities include collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, patient and family education, and participation in quality and safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
• Completion of required orientation programs related to specialty.
• Maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
• Basic computer skills.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support – State of Pennsylvania
• Upon Hire RN – Licensed Registered Nurse_PA – State of Pennsylvania

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to address patient needs.
• Synthesizes data to make decisions that optimize patient outcomes.

• Participates in evidence-based practice and research projects as applicable.
