Job summary

Swiss Premium Dairy in the United States is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Cooler Operator (Part Time) to perform diverse warehouse and inventory tasks within a refrigerated environment. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, order prep for shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory records using a computer.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years in warehouse or related fields, and potential forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or License – forklift or similar certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items as assigned; sort and place materials on racks or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check information for accuracy before shipment; verify bills of lading; inspect product condition.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts, year-end inventory counts, and cycle counts as required.
• Monitor materials, product, and equipment; report irregularities to supervisor.
• May operate a forklift and move inventory between locations.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and follow GMP and safety requirements.
