Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Receiver/Loader to unload and load trailers following SOPs in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You may operate electric pallet jacks and must maintain accuracy and safety while meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong color/size/SKU recognition, basic math, and solid communication. This role may require overtime and Lift Operator Certification every three years. Benefits are provided in the following section.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Overtime may be required; Lift Operator Certification may be required every three years.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product.
• Maintain a positive, supportive attitude towards the Company, job, customers and co-workers.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
