Havasu Regional Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Radiology Technician to perform imaging and quality control tasks while educating patients and ensuring safety. You will review orders, position patients, and administer contrast as needed.

Required are ARRT radiology registration, state radiation operator cert, and BCLS. This role supports the radiology department and participates in ongoing education and performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
• Current radiation operator certificate in state of practice.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiology.
• BCLS required.

Responsabilités

• Perform imaging procedures in accordance with scope and standards.
• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Perform quality control checks on equipment and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures.
• Analyze results and report findings.
• Enter, transmit, and report scan results accurately.
• Support department service levels and participate in ongoing education.
