Job summary

Greenwood Associates Inc. is seeking a second shift Quality Control Technician to perform qualitative and quantitative checks on food and beverage products. This role helps maintain the company’s FSMS, ensuring high quality and safe products that meet specifications.

It is a full-time, at-will, non-exempt hourly position with start times between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM based on production needs. The QA Tech will collect and analyze samples, verify compliance with FDA/CPFG rules, manage

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; college classes/degree or equivalent job experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
• Able to independently investigate and analyze observations, and draw conclusions.
• Able to understand food safety principles, certification program structure and governmental regulations as required.
• Strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business systems (ERP or other software).

Responsibilities

• Collect, prepare, analyze, interpret, and report test results of chemical, physical, and microbiological samples.
• Conduct inspection checks on goods and production processes.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and CPFG food safety and quality rules and regulations.
• Report food safety/quality findings and issues.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment; keep documentation up to date.
• Record data in logbooks, spreadsheets, and ERP system.
