Job summary

Bethesda Gardens Thornton is hiring QMAPs to provide safe medication administration for our assisted living and memory care residents. Evening shifts available, full-time and part-time positions with a $2500 sign-on bonus.

You’ll pass medications, monitor residents, and work with families and staff to maintain a warm, dignified environment. We seek compassionate individuals who can perform routine nursing tasks under policy, manage MARs, and participate in daily activities and safety rounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certification in medication administration and CPR/First Aid as required by state.
• Strong compassion for elderly and disabled; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Sets up medications and passes them to residents following policies.
• Performs narcotic counts at shift start and end.
• Orders medications from pharmacy per community policies.
• Checks MARs for errors and communicates with families to bring meds if needed.
• Administers treatments, takes vital signs and weighs residents.
• Documents changes on MAR and orders per physician orders.
• Ensures lab work, faxes, and medication orders are filed.
• Schedules doctor appointments and admits new residents as needed.
• Assists with showers, dressing, toileting and daily living activities.
• Supports dining service, escorts residents, and responds to call lights with care.
