Job summary

INCOG BioPharma Services is seeking a QC Microbiology Technician to support the development and readiness of the Quality Control Microbiology lab. You will perform routine sampling, execute microbiology assays, and manage day-to-day lab tasks including consumables, calibration, and waste management in a fast-paced GMP environment.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, effective communication, and strong self-management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in science (Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred) or equivalent related experience.
Strong math and documentation skills.
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal interaction skills.
Ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
Exceptional computer skills evidenced by hands-on work with automated data management and/or data analysis systems (LIMS, JMP, Minitab, etc.).

Responsibilities

Perform sampling of components, raw materials, in-process and finished product samples, and stability samples.
Perform routine microbiology testing on various materials according to SOPs and quality guidelines.
Maintain calibration, verification, and daily maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
Support QC leadership in establishing the new GMP QC Microbiology Laboratory.
Ensure safety, waste management, and regulatory compliance in the lab.
Document laboratory activities clearly and accurately to support investigations and deviations.
