The La Salle University Public Health Program seeks an Adjunct Faculty member to teach the Public Health Nutrition course in-person in the evenings. This pooled position supports undergraduate BSPH and graduate MPH students, with teaching responsibilities aligned to the course syllabus and program needs.

Responsibilities include delivering lectures, evaluating student work, guiding assignments, and using the La Salle Portal and Canvas to communicate with students, under the direction of the

Qualifications

• Must have specific experience teaching public health or community nutrition.
• Experience teaching in a higher education environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of La Salle University mission and programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teaches undergraduate BSPH and graduate MPH students at a high level of expertise.
• Complies with the syllabus and contributes revisions as needed.
• Attends orientation meetings with course coordinators prior to the semester.
• Teaches in-person evening sessions (Mon 6:15–9:00pm) as scheduled.
• Evaluates student performance using course rubrics and grades accordingly.
• Directs students on assignments as specified by syllabi.
• Uses La Salle University email, the Portal, and Canvas to communicate course information.
• Provides remedial instruction and academic support under supervision.
