Job summary

La Salle University is seeking Registered Dietitians for adjunct teaching in its Nutrition Program in Philadelphia. This pooled position means adjunct instructors will be selected as needs arise for Fall, Spring, and Summer terms, with courses such as Principles of Nutrition offered in-person or online.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nutrition or related field and are RD/RDNs, with knowledge of and commitment to La Salle University's mission.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.
• Previous experience teaching in a higher education environment.
• Recent dietetic practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach Principles of Nutrition (3 credits) in-person or online.
• Deliver engaging lectures, assign and assess coursework.
• Provide guidance to students and support diverse learning needs.
• Deliver course content in Fall, Spring and Summer terms as needed.
