Job summary

Conagra Brands, Inc. in Darien, Wisconsin, is seeking a Production Specialist for the D shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) at a large manufacturing facility.

This on-site role reports to Production Supervisors and supports production operations with a focus on quality, packaging compliance, and food safety. You will read schedules, assemble cases, inspect products, assist with start-up and changeovers, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical requirements to perform all duties safely.
• Effective communication skills to perform all duties.
• Willingness to learn and follow: Food handling and packaging practices; Safe working practices; GMP.
• Ability to work well as part of a production team.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of production schedules and read follow instructions.
• Form and assemble cases to meet production requirements.
• Monitor fill weight, seal, label placement, date code and accuracy.
• Report deviations and ensure proper case entry to sealer.
• Visually inspect products for blemishes or extraneous material.
• Stop production for deviations or equipment issues and report.
• Maintain housekeeping and assist with start-up, changeover, and shutdowns.
