Job summary

Stratas Foods in Quincy, MA is seeking a safety-focused Production Mix Operator for the 3pm-11:30pm shift. You will operate computerized mixing systems, ensure accurate formulations, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while following GMP, HACCP, and allergen handling protocols.

Responsibilities include documenting batch records, calibrating equipment, and performing basic lab checks to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• Proficient math and numerical reasoning.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Forklift operation certification required or to be completed on the job.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Electrical 2 Training to be completed on the job.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to lift and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized mixing equipment to prepare recipes per production schedules.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and work areas per SOPs (CIP/LOTO).
• Follow GMP, safety policies, and PPE requirements.
• Document production activities, batch records and logs.
• Handle ingredients including allergens with proper storage and segregation.
• Take samples and perform basic lab checks for quality.
