Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a manufacturing operator to operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machines in a safe and efficient manner at our South Carolina facility. You will ensure production quality and maintain equipment to meet production rates per customer specifications.

Work includes confirming work-orders, ensuring materials, updating setups, and completing daily Hr x Hr paperwork while upholding safety, quality, and 5S housekeeping standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Use of basic hand tools
• Basic math and computer skills
• Good communication, reading and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as with others
• Willingness to support other operations or departments as needed
• Must be comfortable wearing standard PPE

Responsibilities

• Operate manual, semi-automatic, or automatic assembly/testing machines in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assure that their machine is running quality parts at the production rates.
• Produce quality parts in accordance with customer specifications using Hubbell Quality Operating Principles.
• Confirm work-order is correct.
• Confirm all required materials are on hand.
• Confirm correct set-up of all equipment is current.
• Complete daily paperwork including Hr x Hr charts, counting and packing parts.
• Maintain safety, quality, production and 5S housekeeping standards.
